This Privacy Policy explains how Next Rates LLC (“NX Rates,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit nxrates.com, contact us, create an account, purchase a subscription, or use our APIs and data services.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: email address, account name or pseudonym, public wallet addresses, and passkey public credential data.
  • Billing information: plan, invoices, transaction references, company, tax identifier, country, and billing address when provided. Card details are collected by Stripe and are not stored by NX Rates.
  • Communications: your name, work email, company, message, and support correspondence.
  • Service and security data: API-key prefix, plan, request metadata, IP address, timestamps, error and diagnostic information, and usage needed for rate limiting, abuse prevention, reliability, and support.
  • Device-local data: session tokens and pending-payment state stored in your browser so sign-in and checkout can work.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • provide accounts, authentication, API keys, data access, and support;
  • process payments, issue invoices, calculate taxes, and manage renewals;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service;
  • enforce plan limits and protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats;
  • respond to enquiries and send transactional service messages; and
  • comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

3. Legal bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our contract, comply with legal obligations, protect legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and act on consent where consent is the appropriate basis. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

4. How we share information

We may share information with:

  • payment and billing providers, including Stripe, banks, and blockchain networks used for your selected payment method;
  • cloud infrastructure, email delivery, monitoring, security, and professional service providers acting on our instructions;
  • authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the service; and
  • a successor in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or asset sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party behavioral advertising.

5. International transfers

We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use contractual or other recognized safeguards for cross-border transfers.

6. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain transaction and tax records, secure our systems, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, unless law requires longer retention.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encrypted transport, scoped credentials, and security monitoring. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Keep API keys and account credentials private, and report suspected compromise to security@nxrates.com.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal information, and to appeal or complain to a data protection authority. You can update certain account details in the account area. To make a request, email privacy@nxrates.com. We may verify your identity before completing a request.

9. Children

The service is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the service or law changes. We will post the updated version and change the date above. We will provide additional notice when a change materially affects your rights.
